beKIND Mindfitness Triathlon
Over 17 000 adults, teens & kids have taken the beKIND challenge. Will you be the next?
It’s fun. It’s unique. A first of its kind in Canada the beKIND Mindfitness Triathlon was originally launched to thousands of students in both Edmonton Catholic and Edmonton Public Schools. Unlike traditional triathlons (swimming, cycling and running), the beKIND Mindfitness Triathlon incorporates fitness, yoga and the beKIND Mindfulness Challenge. The focus is on student’s mental, emotional, physical and social well-being. The fitness component is about having fun and creating a non-competitive environment where we support, encourage and help each other out.
During this session participants will have the opportunity to explore the mind body connection and learn new skills that will help improve concentration, reduce stress and self-regulate thoughts and emotions. Together everyone will also begin Day 1 of the beKIND Mindfulness Challenge so you can join our beKIND Mindfulness Movement of over 17 000 adults, teens and kids.
Created and led by Susan Agrios, CEO and founder of Agrios Mindfitness, former K-12 school teacher, highly trained fitness professional and multi-sport world medalist and world record holder in weightlifting, cycling and badminton. What makes her unique is she is also an international yoga & meditation teacher enabling her to work with both your body and mind.
